Cherished number plates is occasionally seen as an odd choice of description for what we provide to our customers. Many people prefer the terms 'personalised registration plates' or 'personal car number plates' - but in many cases, cherished number plates (such as JU55 FAT) is exactly what they are. Flashy or ornamental fonts are not permitted on Car Registration Plates, and only UK national flags are allowable: any other symbols, such as football team logos or religious symbols may not be displayed on private car number plates. The only variant font allowed on cherished number plates (such as JU55 FAT) as an option by the regulations is a 3D version of the standard font.
