One may choose to display a plate that depicts a name, a favourite hobby or a word that can be associated with one’s occupation. There are several celebrity examples of this. Given that the law compels every motorist on the UK's roads to display an identifying number plate, it is not surprising that people have found ways to turn that restriction into a bit of fun.
