Women drivers "over-cautious"
05 September 2008

A new report out today by cherished-number-plates.co.uk has found that female drivers are over-cautious compared to their male counterparts.
Their main traits include: stopping at roundabouts when it isn't necessary (i.e. there is no traffic to stop for), not pulling out of junctions when there is an adequate gap and slowing down too early (or too much) when turning a corner.
A cherished-number-plates.co.uk spokesman said "this report shows that women drivers are more cautious than male drivers, but that there is a fine line between safe driving and holding up traffic. On the flip side, we found that male drivers can be not cautious enough, pulling out in front of each other and not stopping when perhaps they should".
Maybe we all need to be a bit more 'clever' when we drive.
