Number Plate Theft!

More and more number plates are being stolen and then used during crimes resulting in the owner of the original number plate receiving fines through the post or, even worse, a visit from the police.

However, Bedfordshire Police are offering a free service where they will fit tamper-proof screws to your number plate for free.

If you're in the area, they will be outside Sainsbury's, in Luton Road between 12 noon and 3pm on Tuesday the 2nd of September 2008.

If you can't make this one, more sessions are planned in the months leading up to Christmas.
