Uncle Sam Needs to Get it Together

When you look at it closely, Americans are really the same as their engines. Gobbling up fuel/food while still somehow managing to do it in style.

Their engines are mile apart from foreign counterparts like the Europeans and the Japanese. Over this side of the Atlantic, fuel economy and precision performance being squeezed out of out engines using sophisticated CPUs and fuel injection systems, where as even the new Ford Mustang still sports a big fat beer bell of an engine grumbling along.

With fuel prices on the rise and General Motors Stocks plummeting last week, I think it’s about time for Uncle Sam to get his act together and ‘borrow’ some of the techniques used to perfection by manufacturers like BMW and Toyota.
